Welcome to ThaiRide. This Privacy Policy explains how ThaiRide collects, uses, stores, processes, transfers, and protects your personal data. ThaiRide operates as an online marketplace connecting motorcycle rental providers ("Providers") with renters ("Users"). We process personal data in compliance with: Thailand Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA), GDPR where applicable, and other applicable privacy laws.
Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
Full name, email, phone, nationality, date of birth, passport information, driver's license information, profile photo, payment-related information, communication with Providers or support.
2.2 Information collected automatically
IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, app usage data, booking activity, cookies, analytics data, location (with permission).
2.3 Information from Providers
Booking confirmations, rental disputes, damages, cancellations, verification status, customer incidents.
How we use personal data
Provide and operate the Platform, process reservations, facilitate communication, verify accounts, prevent fraud, improve services, customer support, comply with legal obligations, enforce Terms of Service, operational notifications, analytics and security monitoring. We may also use data for marketing communications where permitted by law.

Contractual necessity, legitimate business interests, legal obligations, user consent.
Passports and identification documents
ThaiRide does not retain physical passports. If identification documents are uploaded: processed solely for verification, fraud prevention, or Provider requirements; access is restricted; data is encrypted where reasonably practicable. Providers may independently request passports or deposits directly from Users — ThaiRide is not responsible for Provider handling of identity documents.
Payments
Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment processors. ThaiRide does not store complete credit card details on its own servers.
Sharing of personal data
We may share with: motorcycle rental Providers, payment processors, cloud hosting providers, analytics services, customer support providers, legal authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
International data transfers
Your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including Thailand. Where required by law, we implement appropriate safeguards.
Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud.
